Please join us for our first Rockville Chess Club Action , which will be USCF-rated.
Venue. Crown Starbucks in Gaithersburg, at the outside tables. Map on the left
Tournament Appointment Holders. Tournament Director: FM Luke Wong; Assistant Tournament Directors: Aloysius Han, Richard Ha.
Date and Time. Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 1-6PM.
Time control/Format. Swiss, with 4 rounds, G/30 minutes, plus 5 seconds delay. Folks may leave early and withdraw from rounds 2-4.
We are waiving collecting USCF submission fees, but active USCF membership required.
Please bring your own chess sets, clocks, notation sheets, and pens. We will have extra notation sheets and pens on hand, as well as earplugs.
Saturday's weather has a 68 degree high, but dress warmly and bring a jacket just in case. If sunlight bothers you, please also bring sunglasses.
